Volleyball Game Preview: Apollo Hawks vs. Kellis Cougars

The Apollo Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Kellis Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Apollo will be strutting in after a victory while Kellis will be coming in after a defeat.

Apollo not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th. They put the hurt on St. Mary's with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Kellis was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Verrado.

Kellis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Apollo, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Apollo couldn't quite get it done against Kellis in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Apollo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
