Softball Recap: Washington Patriots vs. Enumclaw Hornets
Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Enumclaw Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Washington of the 14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Washington saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dee Moore, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Washington's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Enumclaw, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Washington will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Pierce at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin Pierce will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Washington surely won't give up without a fight. Enumclaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
