Volleyball Recap: Freedom Starts Season with Win Against Jefferson + How To Watch

Freedom had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Jefferson Dragons by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Freedom walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 15-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Averi Addison had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Addison wasn't the only good server: Freedom was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Freedom didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Middleton on the 21st. As for Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tampa Bay Tech on the 21st.
