Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Roosevelt couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ferndale Golden Eagles on Friday. The Roughriders' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

While Roosevelt ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Ferndale, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Roosevelt nor Ferndale have any future games scheduled.
