Basketball Recap: Kelis Dansby's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jeffersonville over Borden

Jeffersonville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 54-44 to the Borden Braves on Thursday.

Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelis Dansby, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Makenna Taylor was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Jeffersonville's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Borden, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2-1.

Jeffersonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-64 victory against North Knox on the 23rd. Borden has also already played their next contest, a 48-35 defeat against Franklin Central on the 27th.
