Harlan has gone 7-0 against Warren recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Harlan Hawks will look to defend their home pitch against the Warren Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Harlan sitting on four straight wins and Warren on seven.

Harlan's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Taft by a score of 2-0. The Hawks' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Bryan Turcios and Josh Olivares scored both of Harlan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Warren was able to grind out a solid victory over Sotomayor on Friday, taking the game 3-1. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the WILDCATS are ranked 586th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warren's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five matches. As for Harlan, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1.

Harlan skirted past Warren 2-1 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Harlan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Warren turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
