Softball Game Preview: Orion Chargers vs. Monmouth-Roseville Titans

Orion is 7-2 against Monmouth-Roseville since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers are taking a road trip to challenge the Titans at 4:30 p.m. Orion is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Last Monday, Orion made easy work of Monmouth-Roseville and carried off a 17-5 victory.

Orion let Lainey Kunert and Sydney Wesley run wild. Kunert went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs, while Wesley went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave Wesley a new career-high. Khloe Nelson was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Orion's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Monmouth-Roseville, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.
