Recap: Ninety Six Wildcats vs. Keenan Raiders
Despite a strong season so far, The Ninety Six Wildcats have seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell just short of Keenan by a score of 24-21. Ninety Six lost against Keenan in their previous head to head back in November of 2014, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 46-28 score last time.
Keenan's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Desmond Washington, who threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Evan Artemus was another key contributor, rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown.
Ninety Six's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Keenan, their win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-5.
Ninety Six does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Keenan will head out on the road to face off against Strom Thurmond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Strom Thurmond's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six matches.
