Volleyball Game Preview: Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots vs. Ocean Springs Greyhounds

The Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots will face off against the Ocean Springs Greyhounds at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are still undefeated (Madison-Ridgeland Academy has nine wins dating back to last season, while Ocean Springs has three).

If West Memphis Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Keira Hariel. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Black Knights on Thursday with plenty of help from Hariel, who had 16 assists and two aces. Hariel is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy never let West Memphis Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Ocean Springs was able to grind out a solid win over Starkville on Friday, taking the game 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ocean Springs took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Ocean Springs, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
