Football Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Lafayette Christian Academy

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lafayette Christian Academy walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Parkview Baptist Eagles 57-10. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won five contests by 24 points or more so far this season.

Braylon Walker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 331 yards and six touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 59 yards on only seven carries. Those 331 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Brayden Allen also helped with three TDs in total.

The win was the seventh in a row for Lafayette Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.9 points over those games. As for Parkview Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Lafayette Christian Academy will challenge Catholic - N.I. at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. Parkview Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
