Basketball Recap: Stearns Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stearns can now relate to. They fell 49-42 to the Easton Bears on Wednesday. The Minutemen's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Stearns' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Easton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Stearns does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Easton, they will take on Katahdin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Katahdin will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Easton surely won't give up without a fight.
