Volleyball Recap: Stephen-Argyle Central Takes a Loss

Stephen-Argyle Central came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Sacred Heart Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Izzy Cwikla was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight digs and one assist.

Stephen-Argyle Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for Sacred Heart, they pushed their record up to 27-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Stephen-Argyle Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sacred Heart, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] on the 24th.
