Softball Game Preview: Marion County Warriors vs. Franklin County Rebels

The Marion County Warriors will challenge the Franklin County Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Marion County and three for Franklin County.

Marion County came up short against Bradley Central on Saturday, falling 12-4.

Kaylee McGowan and Emma Pryor stepped up to the plate in a big way. McGowan scored a run while going 3-for-3, while Pryor scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Saylors, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Franklin County's offense. They lost 15-0 to Tullahoma on Thursday.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Marion County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
