Softball Preview: Waunakee Warriors vs. Watertown Goslings

Waunakee fell victim to Oregon and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Watertown got the win against Monona Grove on Monday by a conclusive 7-1. The Goslings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Allison Howlett was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. She also put up a run, which was her first of the season.
