Football Game Preview: Addison Trail Blazers vs. Oak Park-River Forest Huskies + How To Watch

The Addison Trail Blazers will head out on the road to square off against the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Addison Trail has five straight victories, Oak Park-River Forest has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Addison Trail against Proviso East as the team secured a 45-16 win. Given the Blazers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Pirates are ranked 402nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Oak Park-River Forest came up short against Lyons on Friday, falling 32-6.

Addison Trail's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Oak Park-River Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Addison Trail suffered a grim 35-14 defeat to Oak Park-River Forest when the teams last played back in September of 2016. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Blazers were down 21-0.
