Soccer Game Preview: Community vs. Sunnyvale

The Community Braves will square off against the Sunnyvale Raiders at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Community and Caddo Mills had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Braves fell just short of the Foxes by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. Community fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Caddo Mills since Wednesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunnyvale). They never let Ford get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for Sunnyvale in their matchups with Ford: they've now won eight in a row.

Sunnyvale's win bumped their record up to 12-3-1. As for Community, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Community couldn't quite get it done against Sunnyvale in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
