Baseball Recap: Shikellamy Takes a Loss

Shikellamy lost against North Schuylkill back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Shikellamy lost 13-2 to North Schuylkill. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shikellamy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Yarger, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Shikellamy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for North Schuylkill, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shikellamy is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Danville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Shikellamy's pitchers better be ready for this one: Danville has averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season. As for North Schuylkill, they are taking a road trip to challenge Panther Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
