Basketball Recap: New Albany Skates Past Salem with Ease

New Albany hadn't done well against Salem recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The New Albany Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Salem Lions 60-19. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season.

New Albany's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Salem, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Albany will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Evansville Harrison at 1:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Salem will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Borden at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
