Volleyball Recap: Richland's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rockwall-Heath, Richland was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Turner Lions. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Richland took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Turner, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Richland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Lincoln on the 21st. As for Turner, they will challenge Spruce at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
