Basketball Recap: Delilah Martinez Key Part of a Team Effort in Cubs Win

There's no place like home for Clifton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the McGregor Bulldogs 48-34 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Cubs, who suffered a 37-31 loss the last time these two teams met.

Clifton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Delilah Martinez out in front who went 5 for 8 en route to 12 points in addition to five boards and three steals. That's the most points Martinez has posted since back in November of 2024. Camy Barsh was another key player, putting up seven points and six steals.

Clifton now has a winning record of 12-11. As for McGregor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-10.

Clifton has already played their next match (against West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. McGregor will be playing in front of their home fans against Troy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
