Basketball Recap: Friendship Tech Prep Academy Skates Past DC International with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Friendship Tech Prep Academy over DC International in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Friendship Tech Prep Academy Titans blew the DC International Dragons out of the water with an 89-34 final score. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Titans had established a 50 point advantage.

Friendship Tech Prep Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Haskins, who posted 24 points. That's the most points Haskins has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Malik Shackleford, who earned 23 points and five steals.

Despite the loss, DC International still got an impressive performance from Gavin Moore, who went 7 for 16 on his way to 17 points. Jhalil Route was another key player, putting up ten points.

The victory got Friendship Tech Prep Academy back to even at 1-1. As for DC International, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Friendship Tech Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-53 win against Sandy Spring Friends on the 6th. As for DC International, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-29 loss against Eastern on the 5th.
