Baseball Recap: Westland Comes Up Short

The Westland Cougars lost 9-2 to the Big Walnut Golden Eagles on Thursday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Big Walnut, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

While Westland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
