Basketball Game Preview: Anadarko Warriors vs. Wewoka Tigers

The Anadarko Warriors will head out to face off against the Wewoka Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Anadarko has three straight victories, Wewoka has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Anadarko didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Kingfisher, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win.

Meanwhile, Wewoka lost 57-34 to Silo on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Rebels are ranked 141st).

Anadarko's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Wewoka, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything came up roses for Anadarko against Wewoka when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 73-9 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Anadarko since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
