Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Killingly). They blew past the Windham Whippets 21-0 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Redmen in their matchups with the Whippets: they've now won six in a row.

Killingly's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Windham, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Killingly will take on Plainfield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Redmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Windham, they will square off against Griswold at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
