Softball Recap: Reynolds Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beaverton, Reynolds was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Parkrose Broncos a 6-0 shutout. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 5-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Reynolds' victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Parkrose, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reynolds will face off against Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 10.7 runs per game this season. As for Parkrose, they will square off against Hood River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
