Basketball Recap: Denton Takes a Loss

If Denton was feeling good fresh off their 56-31 takedown of Colleyville Heritage two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Denton Broncos took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Argyle Eagles on Friday. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Denton's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Argyle, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 10-13.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Ryan the next time they take the court. Argyle will head out to face Ryan at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Denton will host them at 7:15 p.m. on January 10th.
