After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bacon Academy, Lyman Memorial was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Wheeler Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-3 back in April.

Lyman Memorial's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Wheeler, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyman Memorial will take on Parish Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Wheeler, they will host Ledyard at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Colonels have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
