Elder extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 14-9 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Summit Country Day Silver Knights. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Summit Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. They haven't had much luck with Elder recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

For Summit Country Day's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan Gentry, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Coming up, Elder will head out to face off against Indian Hill at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.9, the Braves 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Summit Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
