Oakdale came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Rapides, but Zayveian Johnson wouldn't allow it. The Mustangs took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 73-46 victory over the Warriors for which the team can thank Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and ten rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Rapides' points.

Rapides has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. As for Oakdale, they dropped their record down to 10-18-1 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.
