Seymour extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Joey Carrafiello. The Seymour Wildcats came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 73-67 W against the Ansonia Chargers thanks in part to Carrafiello, who went 11 of 14 to rack up 27 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Brandon Calabrese, who posted eight points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Seymour's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 41.5% in those games and 29.3% outside of them. As for Ansonia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Seymour will face off against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ansonia, they will challenge Wilby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
