The Morristown-Beard Crimson will head out on the road to challenge the Dayton Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Morristown-Beard is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
Having struggled with 12 defeats in a row, Morristown-Beard finally turned things around against The Pingry School last Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Big Blue.
Morristown-Beard never let The Pingry School on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23.
Meanwhile, Dayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Summit.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15.
Morristown-Beard's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15. As for Dayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
