Basketball Recap: Zapata Comes Up Short

Zapata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-44 back in January.

Zapata's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Tuloso-Midway, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-17.

Zapata will be playing in front of their home fans against Robstown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuloso-Midway, they will challenge Harmony School of Excellence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
