Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask TPLS Christian Academy). They were the clear victor by a 74-48 margin over Genoa Christian Academy on Friday. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 75th in Virginia, while Genoa Christian Academy are ranked 293rd in Ohio), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagan Schuck and Leah Kinley certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Schuck shot 67% from the field en route to 17 points and six rebounds, while Kinley posted 20 points. The match was Kinley's fourth in a row with at least 15 points.

The win made it two in a row for TPLS Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-21. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Genoa Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 17-7 record.
