Middlebury waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Vergennes Commodores by a score of 35-27. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Commodores back in January, they had to take a 43-30 loss.

Middlebury's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. As for Vergennes, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 11-6.

Coincidentally, Middlebury and Vergennes will both be playing Enosburg Falls the next time they take the court. Middlebury will head out to face Enosburg Falls at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Vergennes will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
