Basketball Recap: Corunna Comes Up Short

Corunna lost against Flushing back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Corunna Cavaliers took a 25-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flushing Raiders. The Cavaliers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Corunna's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Flushing, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corunna will take on Kearsley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flushing, they will square off against Dow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Dow will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Flushing surely won't give up without a fight.
