Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Braddock Bruins vs. Lewis Lancers + How To Watch

The Lake Braddock Bruins will face off against the Lewis Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lake Braddock is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering West Springfield just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Spartans.

Lake Braddock started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Lake Braddock saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jacob Wong had 15 digs and four assists. Wong is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Meanwhile, Lewis lost 3-0 to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology on Monday.

While Lewis ultimately came up short, they really made Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 29-27.

Lake Braddock's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Lewis, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
