Volleyball Recap: Canyon Wins Going Away Against Cypress

Canyon barely beat Cypress the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Canyon Comanches blew past the Cypress Centurions 3-0 on Thursday. The Comanches haven't had any issues with the Centurions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Canyon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-21.

Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Cypress, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Canyon will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Anaheim at 6:00 p.m. As for Cypress, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lakewood at 5:30 p.m. on March 21st.
