Basketball Recap: Flushing Comes Up Short

Flushing lost against Forest Hills back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Flushing Red Devils had to suffer through a 56-21 loss at the hands of the Forest Hills Rangers. The loss leaves the Red Devils without a win on the season.

Flushing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Forest Hills, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Flushing will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Campus Magnet at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Campus Magnet will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Flushing surely won't give up without a fight. As for Forest Hills, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-22 victory against Queens Complex on the 18th.
