Softball Recap: Hicksville Comes Up Short

Hicksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tinora Rams. If the Aces were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hicksville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Adams, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Hicksville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Tinora, their record is now 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hicksville will host Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Aces' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Apaches have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Tinora, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Ayersville at 5:00 p.m. The Pilots will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
