Oxford extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 4-0 in the process. They blew past the Naugatuck Greyhounds 16-2. Fans of the Wolverines have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

As for Naugatuck, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

For Naugatuck's part, Ainsley Kenney was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That hit was Kenney's first of the season.
