After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brighton, Western was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Hastings Saxons. Western might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Western has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four contests. As for Hastings, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Western will face off against Plymouth Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hastings, they will square off against Pennfield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hastings will be up against Pennfield's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.83 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
