Volleyball Recap: Southwest SD Comes Up Short

Southwest SD lost against Olympian last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

Southwest SD was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-23.

Southwest SD has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Olympian, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-14 record this season.

Southwest SD will face off against Hilltop at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Olympian, they will square off against Sweetwater at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
