Basketball Recap: Glendale Takes a Loss

Glendale has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 34-20 bruising from the Independence Patriots on Tuesday. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Independence, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.

When Glendale and Independence next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Glendale will square off against Copper Canyon and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Independence will try to stop Sierra Linda's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
