Basketball Recap: Lehman Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ansonia last Tuesday, Lehman Catholic came back down to earth. The Lehman Catholic Cavaliers fell 49-40 to the Troy Christian Eagles on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cavaliers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Eagles are ranked 449th).

Lehman Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 17-2. As for Troy Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehman Catholic and Miami East will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
