Basketball Recap: Lansing Comes Up Short

Lansing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds, falling 67-21. The Lions lost against the Thunderbirds in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 54-31 score last time.

Lansing's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shawnee Heights, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lansing Lions challenge the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats on Friday. Shawnee Heights and West will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
