On FridaySpringville kept up with Briarwood Christian until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Briarwood Christian Lions' defense stepped up to hand the Springville Tigers a 4-0 shutout. Considering the Lions have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Briarwood Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those seven matches. The loss snapped Springville's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Briarwood Christian take on the Northridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springville, they will take on Moody at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
