South Grand Prairie is a perfect 8-0 against Bowie since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. South Grand Prairie gave up the first runs last Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Haltom by a score of 4-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bowie). They blew past Lamar 24-13 on Tuesday. The Volunteers have beaten the Vikings the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vikings has come to flipping the script.

South Grand Prairie pushed their record up to 11-8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Bowie, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6.
