Football Game Recap: Clearwater/Orchard vs. Creighton

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Creighton beat Clearwater/Orchard 50-44 on Friday.

Creighton's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 36 points in the first half. Clearwater/Orchard came up with 16 to make it 36-16 heading into the break. Creighton were outperformed in the second half 14-28 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the game. The win bumped their record up to 1-0. The loss dropped Clearwater/Orchard's record to 1-0.

Creighton hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next contest against Homer at 7:00 PM in two weeks. As for Clearwater/Orchard, they will face off against West Holt.
