Softball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry fell victim to Green and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in April.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Green, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Perry will challenge Norwayne at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests. As for Green, they will head out to take on Marlington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dukes have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
