Basketball Game Preview: Otis-Bison Cougars vs. LaCrosse Leopards

Otis-Bison is 0-10 against LaCrosse since December of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Otis-Bison Cougars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the LaCrosse Leopards at 7:30 p.m. LaCrosse took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Otis-Bison, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Otis-Bison earned a 53-43 win over Stafford. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Meanwhile, LaCrosse unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 40-30 to Ellis. The matchup marked the Leopards' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

LaCrosse's defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. As for Otis-Bison, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Otis-Bison came up short against LaCrosse in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 59-54. Can Otis-Bison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
